Passage Talleyrand is a covered pedestrian walkway built during post-war reconstruction that connects Place d'Erlon to several surrounding streets including Rue de Talleyrand, Rue de l'Étape, and Rue Condorcet. The glass-roofed corridor was designed to provide shoppers and pedestrians with weather protection while maintaining natural lighting throughout the space. Originally, the passage housed bookshops, newspaper vendors, and second-hand book dealers in display cases along the walls, creating a vibrant commercial atmosphere.
