PALAIS DE JUSTICE [JUSTICE PALACE]
The Justice Palace was designed during the restoration by the architect Royal Mazois and his successor Caristie, and inaugurated in 1839. The interior was rebuilt in 1928, the Hall of the Lost Steps was refitted with a mezzanine in 1977.Classified as a historical monument in 1930

The building was constructed on the site of the former Hôtel-Dieu (hospital) of Reims, with architect Auguste Caristie designing the modifications and Narcisse Brunette creating the neoclassical facade. It houses the judicial tribunal and commercial court, with commercial justice beginning to be administered in the building in 1839.

he building preserves a Gothic underground hall from the original medieval Hôtel-Dieu, which was classified as a historical monument in 1930 and is similar to one found in the Palais du Tau.The entrance facade features a relief sculpture by Riondet and De Maghellen from 1846 depicting Justice holding a sword and scales, along with a statue representing Integrity created by Jean-Baptiste Farochon in 1852
