Saint-Maurice Church is located next to the former Jesuit college, and tradition attributes its founding to Saint Martin in 385. The church was operated by Benedictine monks during the Middle Ages before being transferred to the Jesuits in 1616, who reconstructed the choir between 1620-1622. After being damaged by fire in 1942, the church underwent a major restoration campaign from 2016-2018.
