Hiking
The sculpture was actually commissioned as part of Dublin's Millennium celebrations in 1988. Jackie McKenna's design was chosen from a number of entries, and it has since become a popular meeting spot for locals and tourists alike. The sculpture is a great example of how public art can add character and charm to a city.
