After the leisurely shopping, there was still some time until dinner (a table ordered at 7:30 p.m. in the Holzwurm), so we added some culture. It went over the Häuersteig to the open-air museum. There are many interesting houses there, which were furnished according to historical findings. Highly recommended!
We went back through Seiffen along the main road. The first mulled wine of the season was available for us and Baumstriezel at the small star market
I just added the pictures of the woodworm. The restaurant is quaint and offers home cooking highly recommended.

Since the Advent season is already within reach and the Christmas decorations are to be expanded, we went on a foray today. First to Werner, with whom we had made an appointment. As promised, we were able to take a look around the workshop and find out many useful design tips in conversation. All in all a dream for me. Many shops later we visited the glass workshop before we brought our achievements to the hotel.

Today daughter made her first long tour with her new bike. For this I adapted Susan's tour a bit (thank you again🙋♂️). In wonderful weather we were able to enjoy the tour and at the end there was delicious goat ice cream (also a great tip from Susan👍)
The tour is great, but the route after the Nordumfluter is not so suitable for racing bikes and the bike path is closed at the weir (you can push past).
I chose a bike because the road bike and MTB did the tour together.

Today I had to bridge the waiting time again, so I made the water playground in Eliaspark my goal. The construction, financed exclusively with donations, represents the course of the Spree in the first construction phase from the source in Upper Lusatia to the Spremberger reservoir and was built with around 80,000 euros in donations. In the second construction phase, the Baltic Sea will probably be built with a mud pool, but donations are still missing.
The tour went past the cloth factory to the stadium and back past the planetarium along the Spree. Overall in the city but still very quiet and park paths.

Today we went on a very special tour. Andreas, the city watchman in Guben, had invited to a very special birthday party. Some of his colleagues also accepted the invitation, such as the night watchmen from Crimmitschau, Springe, Plauen and Schöneck, the white woman from Leipzig and Jutta von Kittlitz with her maid and the gray man from Spremberg, to name just a few. During the sociable and entertaining tour, each of his guests shared a few legends / anecdotes from their city. So the 2 hours went by in a flash. This extraordinary tour ended on Tercet and I think everyone enjoyed it a lot.
Maybe someone noticed the paper bag. The secret: fireworks were forbidden, but organic oilers allowed 🙈🤣🤣

Today we went to Beeskow through as many places as possible. So it went via Pinnow, Reichertskreuz, Klein and Groß Muckrow, Weichensdorf, Klein and Groß Briesen and Reudnitz to Beeskow. In doing so, I was able to determine that, in addition to the well-tended properties, field stone houses are also very common in the beautiful villages. I can recommend the old town of Beeskow to everyone. It has been beautifully restored and makes a very neat impression. The cobblestones go perfectly with the old town, but are unsuitable for racing bikes. Then it went back via Friedland Castle, Lieberose, Jamlitz and Pinnow. The route between Reichertskreuz and Klein Muckrow drives very badly, so I would turn right at the entrance to Beeskow. The rest of the route is easy to drive.

The first working week after the vacation is done, the garden has been cleaned up and the weather is very nice, so it's time to do a lap.
It went via Pinnow and Lieberose to Turnow and from there back via Tauer. The road to Lieberose drives very well on the WE and the route via Drewitz to Kerkwitz is being built, so everything is road with lots of green on the left and right.

We parked our car on the outskirts of Groß Gerau and stayed until tomorrow to drive the 650 kilometers home relatively rested.
Since we still had time, we took a short walk to the city center. We were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of very beautiful half-timbered houses that we were able to discover. We got stuck in a wine tavern with an outdoor area and had a small snack right away. The staff is very open-minded and friendly.
However, the better half's desire to discover was over and we returned to the hotel.
Conclusion, if you are a fan of half-timbered houses and are nearby, you should take some time and stroll through Groß Gerau. It is worth it ..
