Behind the Assmannshausen estate begins a forgotten gorge that meanders its way to Aulhausen. The entire marked path no longer exists. Unfortunately, there is a locked gate at the end and you have to climb up the slope to the road. But it's worth it!

Very wild and romantic gorge of the Eichbach.
The access is a little down the valley from the Assmannshausen domain and passes under the bridge. The path then winds along the Eichbach through a very shady forest.
Always stop at the stream and do not let it lead you away through wide paths, because they only lead into the thicket.
When you reach Aulhausen, the gorge ends, the Eichbach has been built over. Now there is only a small climbing section to the right up to the country road, which is probably not feasible in damp weather.
The small gate is now (8/2019) secured with two (!) Chains, so only turning or climbing remains.
I also looked at the way from the other side in Aulhausen, where the thick nettle cover shows the red card from a distance.

It's a quaint path through the Eichbachklamm. It is definitely interesting when it has rained for a while and the stream also carries water.
Unfortunately the path ends in front of a locked gate.
You can go up the slope to the street, or open the gate with a little trick ...
But be careful, you are then on private property ...
