We took the bus to the Talwiese meadow in the Gaistal valley. From there we started our tour, which we really enjoyed. Varied through forests and meadows, many beautiful paths and great views. According to the Rother hiking guide, the Bernstein is the most beautiful viewpoint rock between Alb and Murg, so we wanted to go there. We started from the hotel. It went gently uphill with many curves to the Bernstein. A beautiful place with a shelter, many benches, and of course the impressive rock

We are in the Black Forest for a few days starting today and this route was on the way. At the beginning the sun was still shining beautifully, we liked the landscape, however the paths were only partly nice trails and mostly wider forest paths. Now we are in Bad Herrenalb for three days first.

🌟 Kleine Drachenbrunnenrunde ab Oberschur (4/2026 mit Martina & Heinz)
Heute waren wir wieder mal mit unseren "Komoot Freunden" Martina & Heinz unterwegs. Unsere Runde war zwar kürzer als ursprünglich geplant (die Deutsche Bahn war daran schuld 🙄), aber trotzdem sehr schön. Die Ausblicke von hier oben sind einfach wunderbar 🤩. Wie immer verging die Zeit mit den Beiden wie im Flug. Zum Abschluss unserer kleinen Wanderung ging es noch in den Gasthof Sommerfrische. Schade war nur, dass der Biergarten saisonbedingt noch geschlossen war. Bei dem schönen Wetter hätten wir gerne draußen gesessen ☀️. @ Martina & Heinz: Schön war's mit Euch. Danke für eure unterhaltsame Gesellschaft 🤗. Einkehrtipp 😋: ***** Zur Sommerfrische: Uriger einfacher Landgasthof mit leckeren Gerichten zu absolut zivilen Preisen. Auf Nachfrage erhält man fast alle Gerichte auch als kleine Portion. Die Wirtsleute sind super nett und man hat das Gefühl, dass es ihnen Freude bereitet, Gäste zu bewirten. Absolut empfehlen kann ich bisher die köstliche Zwiebelsuppe, den Schafskäse aus dem Ofen, das leckere Knoblauchhähnchen und die Schnitzel. Dieser sympathischr Gasthof gehört mittlerweile zu unseren Lieblingslokalen in der Region. Hier kehren wir auch gerne ohne Wanderung ein 🤗. https://share.google/5QeykiGzV209q44j0

Today the weather was fantastic and we were lucky enough to take advantage of it. We took the train to Schimborn and from there walked to the Holler winery, where we met up with our friend Manfred. There we sat wonderfully in the sun, drank delicious wine and ate well before heading back by bus and train.

The Alde Gott Panoramarunde is a really great tour. We saw it in January 2024 on @Rita mit Ronnie 🐕🌳💚 and have had it on our to-do list ever since. Today it worked out. In fantastic weather, we first hiked uphill along the Gaishöll waterfalls. Soon we reached the first wine and schnapps fountain
