If you like markets, you should visit Sluis. Different markets are held here every year, each one offering its own unique atmosphere. On Fridays, you can visit the weekly market. In June, there's "Brocante langs de waterkant" (Brocante along the waterfront), and a month later, the "Zeeuwse dag" (Zeeuwse Day) with a livestock show takes place. During peak season, be sure to visit one of the popular evening markets in Sluis. Round off the market season with the regional producers' market in August or November.
