what is the pearl Many years ago, former construction worker and resident Jochen Hausdorf was supposed to dispose of a man-sized globe from the elementary school. He had secured it, but not thrown it away. In fact, the people of Goßdorf, who have already implemented several projects in their village on their own initiative, had an idea.

Since 2021-2022, the globe has been plastered in a circle, placed on a frame and covered with a shelter. In the late summer of 2022, the ball was decorated with motifs from Saxon Switzerland by a very talented painter. The pictures are from the landscape painter Doreen-Marie Schöngart from Demitz-Thumitz.

The ball has now found a wonderful place above the outdoor pool.
