The ascent from the pioneer lagestrasse to the Kolbenstein for over a meadow and then a piece past the Waldessaum. The last piece to the piston is a bit of climbing but easy to reach. Once at the top of the Kolbenstein you have a magnificent view of the Elbe Valley, the Zirnstein, Lilienstein ... From the Kolbenstein a wide forest path leads to the Lasensteinen, passing in the direction of Zirnstein. One does not get on the Lasensteine.

The ascent leads over wooden and stone steps, over the ridge to the northeastern tip of the stone. There is a beautiful panorama.
    A wrongly, quite unknown summit.

The 378 m high Kohlbornstein, which is a bit off the beaten track, is worth a climb, especially because of its wide panoramic view. In good visibility, the Rosenberg in Bohemian can be seen.

The view on the mountain is terrific on three sides. Despite rainy weather and rising clouds, the view was unique deep into the country, Schrammsteine and other well-known mountains clearly visible, a unique view of cribs, the Elbe and Bad Schandau. The climb is a bit exhausting with many steps, but finally leads through rocks and on the "ridge path" you have a lot to see. Definitely a worthwhile mountain!
