The sculptures were made by Ingnaz Lengelacher, who was court figurine artist in Karlsruhe from 1758 to 1764, between 1760 and 1764 and were first put up in 1782. In August 2010, the sculptures were dismantled, taken to the depot for restoration and storage, and put up again in 2011.
