On today's Sunday ride, I briefly cycled across the Dutch border. Despite the cool temperatures, there were a lot of people out and about. The hustle and bustle in Rothenbach was the worst. 😜 I had to be extremely careful not to be run over. 😰 People were really inattentive. 😡

Inspired by H. Volker Naumann, I also went to see the bluebells today.🤞

I always look at the ones in the Breiten Benden near QVC.

The ones "Am Hintersten Berg" have too many people for me.

You can go there during the week, but Saturdays are probably not a good idea.

However, I could see the blue flowers

Today, I took advantage of the persistently beautiful weather ☀️ for a bike tour to Wegberg-Rickelrath to the (hidden) forest lake there.



A beautiful spot to explore. 😎

But relatively difficult by bike. 😇

That's why I circled the lake more or less by pushing the bike on foot 🚶🚲🔄.

I had planned a route yesterday

Bike tour into the Bergerven nature reserve.

I've been there many times, but until now I hadn't been on the natural path between Opoeteren and Neeroeteren directly along the water of the Bos or Witbeeks. 🧐

That was new territory.

A real landscape highlight.🤩

Sometimes the path led over wooden plank sections

Weekday tour into the border nature areas Taterbosch and Ijzeren. Wonderful air and a mostly relatively lonely ride.

However, the latest bad habit is:

I drive my big cart at walking pace on a dirt road, while my dog enjoys free rein off-leash next to me.
