The almost 30 km long raft trip to Munich leads through the uniquely beautiful landscape of the Isar valley. The journey time is around 4.5 to 6 hours, depending on the water level. The descents have to be passed through three large locks. Already in Mühltal you pass the first raft slide, which is also the longest slide in Europe. 360 meters are overcome in a roaring dash at around 40 km/h and a difference in altitude of 18 metres.
