From the Isar spring at the Reichenbach bridge to the Isar springs (then
back to Scharniz for train or car)
I've always wanted to do the tour. Today it finally happened
worked - joy!
Unfortunately, not all parts of the route are recommended. Here are the tips
please adapt to you:
After the rain the day before, my trail addiction was not particularly great and
of course you can still run asphalt here and there ...
However, the trail under Grünwald is simply not closed after rain
recommend, especially the sandy one right on the water. The bridle paths between
Geretsried and Tölz are easy to ride with wide tires, the trails
behind it are rather gruesome and nothing when wet.
The construction site in Tölz is easy to get through by bike.
The riverside path at Sylvensteinspeicher is great, the further paths
are currently blocked by a construction site / gravel dump and something
confusing.Important! The Isar is eating its way under the path after crossing the Rißbach - officially closed!

Nice> 160km tour with roads that definitely invite you to lawn.
Unfortunately there are also worse ones like Königsdorf-Geretsried (Grundstrasse) and Ascholding-Puppling, which really hurt after 150km and I can now understand anyone who doesn't like them.
In the end it got really hot and without the fountain at the beginning / end of the Jachenau it would have been uncomfortable ...
Well Something would have been found. But it's just so cheap :-)Construction site in Tölz in the direction of Königsdorf is passable for pedestrians and cyclists (08/20/2020).
