The village church of Trebnitz is a neo-Gothic hall church and was rebuilt between 1660 and 1671 on the initiative of the Electorate of Brandenburg, Lieutenant General Joachim Ernst von Görzke, after the previous church was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War. The Hussites looted and destroyed its previous building in 1432. The church was massively damaged during the Second World War, but was rebuilt in the following years.
The church tower is located on the east side of the building, where there is also the large, pointed arch-shaped gate, which is flanked by two pillars. The tower floor rises above it. It visually extends through high panels that extend from the decorative gable into the tower floor. There is a tower clock in the middle, with two more panels above it.
