Krumme Lanke

The crooked Lanke is located in the district of Lanke and was named for this. The place name comes from the Slavic "Laka" and means "meadow, curvature or bay".

a small tranquil lake that invites you to take a walk or to linger.

The song refers to the Krumme Lanke in the former West Berlin.

Compared to the other lakes in the area, the Krumme Lanke is little known and for beach and beach tourists "uninteresting. There is a heavenly peace, relaxation guaranteed!

Idyllic, and a heavenly calm, if one manages to think away the buzz of the BA 11 nearby ..

Beautifully secluded forest lake. In the fall, even the anglers were not on the water.
