The Obersee is a natural lake in the municipality of Wandlitz that was created in a meltwater channel as a result of the last ice age. The Lanke district of the Wandlitz community lies on the east bank of the elongated lake, and the Ützdorf district on the west bank. Here it is connected to the Liepnitzsee via a river, at Lanke it merges into the Hellsee.
