The Mettmanner Bach is a 9.4 km long stream and flows into the Düssel in the Neandertal. If you hike back from the Neandertal to Mettmann, you can walk along here in a relaxed manner. Unfortunately, the creek was partially straightened and there is always rubbish in it. Pity!

The Mettmanner Bach flows in the middle between Düssel and Anger, which is why it used to be called the middle stream. It rises in Wülfrath and flows into the Düssel in the Neandertal.
