The Glemsquelle spring is located in the Red Deer Park, a few hundred meters from the fountain. Close to the fountain is the Glemsbrunnen barbecue hut, built by the Forestry Service (ForstBW) in 1966.

Hiking

The source of the Glems River, encased in stone, meanders for 45 kilometers through the region, primarily through the Strohgäu area, before flowing into the Enz River at Unterriexingen. A wooden bridge once spanned the Glems at this point, but the crossing has since been replaced by stepping stones.
