CASTLE FESTIVAL IN EDESHEIM
The unique ambience of Edesheim Castle with its open-air stage on the castle moat in the middle of vineyards was once again the dream setting for the best family entertainment this year. Launched in 1996, the Castle Festival enjoys greater popularity every year. The open-air theater located on the southwest corner of the castle with a view of the unique backdrop of Edesheim Castle is truly unparalleled.
Up to ten events from all areas of art are presented each year on the open-air stage, located in the middle of the rebuilt castle moat (500 m² of water surface).

Unfortunately, from 2023 onwards, due to the lack of approval from the Edesheim local council, the castle festival can no longer be held in a legally secure manner. We continue to strive and perhaps new options will emerge for this unique venue in the future.
