After finishing my home hairdressing, I simply postponed gardening until the evening. With the weather, half a day's vacation was announced. So it started - after initial difficulties with the train, not from Wörth, but from Kandel. That of course totally messed up my schedule. But whatever. The weeds are still there next week. And it was so nice! The blue sky, the Rheinaue in Baden, the ferry trip, ...

Large parts of my hike today led along the Bergmanns-Bauernweg. It leads through the Höcherberg-Westrich nature reserve around Breitenbach, Dunzweiler and Waldmohr. It's not finished yet. The opening is planned for autumn 2021. Total distance 32.5 km.
My cover picture is an Egyptian goose. It is of African origin and lives on nutrient-rich subtropical inland lakes and rivers. I found her at the Jägersburg castle pond. Gustavsburg Castle in Jägersburg - also very interesting but closed like everything else - is now a museum.2 days ago

After seeing some stork photos on other tours, I went looking today. And I was actually lucky!

... then just sunbathe on the Rhine. Komoot got off after 2 km. After that it was a surprise tour. However, not for people who are sensitive to noise. The sounds of the motorway can be heard everywhere. It's a shame with the wonderful nature. One of the photos shows my favorite motorway bridge - the cable-stayed bridge near Speyer. And the sunset today had something very special due to the Sahara sand!

Sekt or seltzer was the question on my 400th tour. And I went up high with my bike. I couldn't have done that eco in life. But the Bosch engine makes it possible. Thanks to my colleagues !!! A special surprise was that I was allowed to attend the aurochs feeding and even fed them myself. All have a name. The little one that I unfortunately couldn't get in front of the lens is called Snow Maiden!

The tour began in Schaidt and ended in Wörth am Rhein. In between was a lot of France. It was a great bike tour with great weather. It's nice that we got around to stopping by our French neighbors again. Even if there were unfortunately no goodies to snack on (e.g. eclairs)

A wonderful tour with lots of ups and downs. Thanks to the e-bike! Highlight in Oberotterbach we were able to visit the wood carver's yard from the forest spirit trail. It's great what he has carved 👌. All in all, it was a great wine route tour.

Everything was included on this tour! From the asphalt road to beautiful bike paths and muddy trails. It was important to me that I stop by my favorite church ... The Protestant Church in Rinnthal. Classicism is just my thing! Great. The entrance portal, the clear lines ... In any case, the tour was absolutely varied and I especially enjoyed the temperatures and the sun!

The view of the Trifelsland from the 2 roof flying ramps is breathtaking from here. But for that you have to climb steeply first! The actual Hohenberg Tower was also top restored in 2019. A beautiful spot - worth a visit!
