In the mid-2000s, however, an energy farm was set up on the site. Tree trunks were processed into wood chips and stored in halls and in open spaces. Such commercial use is prohibited under the nature reserve ordinance. However, the cessation of operations ordered by the public prosecutor was not followed for several years.
