I actually wanted to leave the bike parked for the next few weeks. I broke another rib on my last ride 🤮😡.



After the weather didn't really tempt me the last few weekends, the sun woke me up this morning.



Yeah, you probably know that feeling when your eyes start itching 🫣😗. So I looked for an excuse

We were both there today.

Since my sweetheart wanted to visit her mother today, I took the opportunity and drove to the Hunsrück region again. I quickly adapted the posted route to my preferences with a few changes (🙏👋👋 for posting it). Unfortunately, it was very foggy and especially humid today 😢🙂‍↔️😢. The fog only allowed

My Saturday ride today took me to the Hessian Spessart. Unfortunately, it wasn't so great, not because of the beautiful valleys, but because of the trails. I hadn't expected so much snow. It was heavily compacted over long stretches and then became incredibly slippery as it thawed. Where it wasn't slippery

Since not much sunshine is forecast for tomorrow's Saturday ride, I have to squeeze in today's. It quickly became clear that Ober Olmer was my destination.



The sun didn't let me down, and the trails were only damp. 😀 😀 The only thing that spoiled the ride today was the constant stream of planes taking

Since I can't make it next week, I decided to take a trip further afield today. I thought the Odenwald would probably be dusted with snow in places 😇. But it turned out quite differently. It wasn't until just before the starting point that I realized there wasn't just a few millimeters of snow 🙃. Luckily

No excuses, just a quick, sweat-free hike up the mountain to kill some time 😇🫣😇. Both peaks were dusted with a little powder snow, a good sign for the weather in the coming days.



Now for a nice, relaxed start to the new year.

Since good weather was forecast for the south today, I decided to move my "penultimate tour this year" to the Palatinate region. I always have a few tours in reserve that I want to ride on my enduro bike. So I dug one out and off I went.



This route was also pre-planned and adjusted by me. What can I say

My ride today took me to Lake Laach. The route was set up by a Komoot user, with only minor changes.

It should have been a leisurely ride, were it not for the sweaty climbs. I rode it in the opposite direction to the original route and was glad I did. After a good 10 km of hard work, I finally caught
