The oldest half-timbered house in Babenhausen - an old Burgmannenhaus - is right next to the Hexenturm, "Am Hexenturm 22". Contrary to the inscription, however, it does not date from 1442, but from 1484. The medieval half-timbering has been excellently preserved.
