The Hexenturm is one of the landmarks of Babenhausen and was formerly called the Mühlturm,
because it is right next to the city mill on the city wall.
It is one of the two defensive towers still in existence in the city, the other is the breach tower.
The allegedly oldest house in Babenhausen is located next to the Witches Tower. An inscription dates it to the year 1442.translated by
