The mill is powered by a so-called patch wheel with a chassis.
The small height difference does not allow for the more efficient storm wheel.
The castle mill was originally a bridge tower of the castle and was thoroughly restored between 1994 and 1996.
Nowadays, it is used as a café on summer weekends.
