In 1337 the feud was ended. The Rauschenburg lost its importance and fell into disrepair in the following years. Of the former castle complex, the inner courtyard, the shield wall and the remains of the keep are still clearly visible. For me, the Ehrbachklamm Traumschleife is one of the most beautiful in the region, varied with a bit of ambition and lots of experiences. An absolute must for every hiking enthusiast or nature lover.

This dream bow rightly bears its name. Exciting, varied and demanding. Not a walk but beautiful. And the children's forest at the end 👍. The highlight is of course the gorge itself.

We ended up there by accident. Actually we just wanted to walk the Ehrbachklamm. From up there we were able to take a descent to the gorge, albeit a difficult one.

Nice place for a break. On a clear day you can see the ruins of the Rauschenburg, built in 1332.

From here, high above the Ehrbach Gorge, you can see the ruin of the Waldeck Castle that protrudes from the forest.

There is not much to say here. Those who like to hike will see and understand it.
