Narrow paths in the Baybach notched valley. Partly rocky climbing passages. Suitable for dogs, less for strollers.

Not difficult to do well, if you concentrate a bit 😉

Nice dream loop with individual short climbing passages.
Wire ropes are available to help where you have to "climb" a bit. Not a via ferrata in the sense that you need via ferrata equipment!

Especially when wet, you should bring a little surefootedness here. Unfortunately it is often wet in the gorge.

The term via ferrata is heavily exaggerated. There are well-developed climbing aids in rocky terrain that offer safety on damp ground.

Well via ferrata? ... grab hold of all fours. . and it's done.

Climb in the gorge

I run a dream path or climb with friends almost every week. We all agreed that this was the most beautiful tour we have done so far. The route leads mostly mostly through narrow paths through the forest and for a long time along the brook valley. The "Schmausemühle" is halfway there. It's worth a stop.

It's fun because you actually have to "scramble" a little ... but it is absolutely manageable if you are a little sure-footed

Great climbing spot, lots of fun. The wire ropes are also very helpful here.

Pure nature, narrow paths and short stranded "via ferratas". Avoid in heavy rain or after.

Really something different. Since a rain shower caught me today, it was a bit slippery in places. But that's what steel ropes are for.

Not a difficult tour, also suitable for inexperienced hikers. But worth seeing. A detour to the Schmausemühle is worthwhile.
