With sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing, it is more fun when there is more surface water. But be careful: when wet, the slate is as slippery as soft soap, when it comes to ice and snow it is better not to walk alone.

Very nice hiking tour through the Baybachtal. Our way led from Schloss Reifental to the Schmausenmühle. There are very beautiful corners in this valley and the highlight is definitely the waterfall, followed by narrow climbing passages👌 enjoy hiking

The notch valley of the Baybach is cut in some places only very narrowly by the slate rocks, so that the path following the stream has to partly overcome rock passages and is secured there with ropes.
