The 15th century St. Ursula Church originally belonged to the Dominican monastery. After the Reformation, like all Catholic churches in Transylvania, it became the property of the Lutherans. In 1728, after Transylvania was liberated from the sphere of Ottoman influence and the Austrian administration was established, the building complex was assigned to the Ursuline nuns. The church underwent several radical renovations, which led to its transformation from a Gothic building into the current Baroque style building.
