In the fairy tale by Theodor Storm, a scorching hot summer almost made people despair. The harvest withered and the cattle were thirsty. Only the meadow farmer had no worries as he bought swampy meadows for little money. Many farmers owed him and had to be grateful when he helped them with usury loans. So does the farmer Stine, whose son Andres grew up with Maren, the daughter of the meadow farmer. Both loved each other, which the meadow farmer wanted to prevent. In the face of the drought, the old belief in the Regentrude awoke among many villagers. According to this belief, the nature goddess is responsible for the rain, but from time to time she falls asleep.

The Regentrude from Theodor Storm's fairy tale is woken up with a magic spell and provides vital rain. Here she now lies naked in the city's former moat. I could imagine that she is cold and freezing. Maybe you should cover them up with warm “clothes”. 😉
