It feels like it has been done a thousand times like this as a hike or walk - and beautiful in every season of the year. Today finally again with a sensible 📷 camera. In shady places, the dewdrops keep until late in the afternoon, even when the weather is nice.

This year I really wanted to see the 'new street' 🛣️ over the Wernershöhe. Become chic; Awesome, almost 7 kilometers long descent via Langenholzen down to Alfeld, luckily hardly any traffic (which you couldn't say about the Red Mountain). Most of the time I avoid these main arteries.
The days are short, so there wasn't much time today for photos, breaks, etc. Speaking of flourishes: I thought that the Bosch car park in Hildesheim would have a second exit ⛔ ... at least for pedestrians / cyclists.
I should have saved myself the drive through the Hildesheim forest at the end. Damp and muddy. Before the bike and driver were clean, afterwards ... 💩😁

We noticed for the first time at the beginning of November that a lot of pear varieties 🍐 grow on the branch canal in front of the Hildesheim harbor. At that time, some of the windfalls still tasted a bit 'furry' (unripe). Now most of the fruits were ripe (to overripe) - even if not all of them were handsome and very differently 'delicious'. We were able to try at least 8 types.

30km house tour with extension to 40km - because it was just so nice 😊. The level crossing in Barnten is free again. The current density of racing bikes and e-bikes was record-breaking.
From ~ 4:00 p.m. it cools down noticeably and the humidity rises quickly.

Less than the title suggests, only a small - not representative - tour over the wall and through the old town - past the two Hildesheim World Heritage Sites. Today it wasn't quite enough for beautiful photos. At least we were lucky enough to have a 'private' tour of St. Magdalene because the church was just open for a few minutes.
