racoon
In the wild:
"There is hardly an animal that has been the subject of such controversy in recent years as the raccoon: cute follower of a culture or unwanted intruder? The small bears, originally from North America, have lived in Germany since 1934: some animals were then used near the Edersee for hunting purposes exposed, others escaped from a fur farm.
The omnivores proved to be so competitive that today the populations have reached enormous numbers in some places. With an estimated several hundred thousand animals, Germany has the largest population outside of North America and Kassel is the undisputed “capital of the raccoons”. "

Raccoons are “small bears” and are carnivores; they are omnivores.
Raccoons can live over 20 years.
They originally come from Canada, USA, Central America,
Today they live in large parts of Europe and seem to feel right at home here too.
