Meerkats at Tierpark Sababurg

There are currently three meerkats living here: the female “Josy” and the two males “Merlin” and “Monty”.

The commented show feedings take place here at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Meerkats live in underground burrows. These cave systems can reach depths of 3 m and cover an area of 100 m2. So that the industrious graves don't get sand trickling into their ears, they can close them."
