Hiking
In 1937 the National Socialists had a number of large wooden buildings built here for their organization "Kraft durch Freude" (KdF). Folklore, variety and other events with a folk festival character were held there to entertain the party conference visitors. The "KdF-Stadt" burned down in 1942 after a bomb attack.
