At 792 meters, the fourth-highest peak in the Franconian Forest may be unspectacular, but it does offer a wonderful rest area. The Bobengrün Franconian Forest Association inaugurated a new covered seating area with a summit register in September 2024 to raise awareness of the mountain.

At 729.2m, the Spitzberg is the fourth highest mountain in the Franconian Forest after Döbraberg, Wetzstein and Schneidberg. Nevertheless, the summit is rather unspectacular, but has a small bench to catch your breath. The route from the northeast is quite steep, if you like it more comfortable, choose the southern route for the ascent.

At 729m, it is the fourth highest mountain in the Franconian Forest - unfortunately there is no view from here
