Hiking

The Frankenwaldschanze near Bad Steben was the last ski jumping hill in the Franconian Forest until it was closed in 2010 due to structural defects. Since then, ski jumping is no longer possible in the Franconian Forest. [2] The ski jump and the jump tower were blown up on March 27, 2015.
