The Froschbachtal is located in the eastern Franconian Forest in the district of Hof and stretches from the towns of Thierbach and Bobengrün via Christusgrün and Dürnberg to the town of Froschbach. The name Froschbach is derived from Fraischbach (border stream). The Froschbachtal is known and popular among hiking enthusiasts, especially because of its paths and views.
