🚶🏼♂️ Genusswelten - Moselsteig: Tag 11 Pommern - Alken 😤🏰😵💫
Was man nicht im Kopf hat, hat man in den Beinen.
Dadurch war ich heute etwas gefrustet unterwegs und konnte an mindestens zwei Stationen nicht die Zeit "verplempern" wie ich wollte.
Und so auch leider nur ganz kurz die Burg Eltz bewundern, die ich irgendwann auf dem Mosel-Camino wiedersehen werde.

Because @Daniel & Diana auf Tour🚶🏼🚶🏼♀️🎒 had been "raving" about the Breva-steig the whole time, I considered leaving the Moselsteig right at Bruttig-Fankel and trying this path instead.
As always in the last few days, there was extremely dense fog, but that too would clear up by 11-12 o'clock.

Heute durch Bremm und dann den Calmont hoch..und wieder runter.
Bei inzwischen heißen Temperaturen angekommen gings lange schweißtreibend durch endlose Weinfelder und kleinere Dörfer.
Bei Senheim mal wieder über die Mosel und durch die Briederner Schweiz nach Beilstein und der Burg Metternich.
Der anschließende Höhenweg nach Bruttig-Fankel schloss diesen tollen…

Mich früh von Roger verabschiedet und schon gings los und immer den Blick Richtung Kanonenbahn folgte ich einer Umleitung bis zum Prinzenkopf bei Pünderich.
Die Mosel macht hier so viele Biegungen, dass ich auf der anderen Seite des Hangs nach Neef blicken konnte, aber dem Moselsteig nach Zell folgte.

Im dichten Morgennebel gings zuerst hoch hinaus Richtung Kröv zum Kröver Nacktarsch Anbaugebiet.
Weiter nach Traben-Trarbach an Mont Royal vorbei (bei der ich im Nachhinein gesehen habe, dass ich die besten Stellen verpasst habe 🥺).

Im Regen nach Osann-Monzell..
Der Regen hat vormittags vergeblich versucht, die Hitze weg zu waschen und nahm am Nachmittag erneut Anlauf.

Die längste Etappe stand an: ein paar Berge, nicht ganz fitte Füße und ein Tag, der warm und wärmer wurde..kann ja nix schief gehen..
Ach..da war was mit einem Klettersteig und der anschließende Abstieg war brutal..

🚶🏼♂️ Mini-Stadtbesichtigung Trier 🚌🏟️⛪
Nach Ankunft in Pfalzel schnell in den Bus gesprungen, um wenigstens in den Katakomben der Kaiserthermen rumzuwuseln.
Danach einfach ein bisschen hier- und dorthin gehirschelt, etwas gegessen und am Ende wieder in Porta Nigra in den Bus und zurück zur Unterkunft 🚌.

Weil 30 Kilometer wandern nicht genug sind, einfach mit dem Kugelbauch nach Oberbillig gerollt.

Kürzeste Strecke..sollte nicht so lange dauern..
Theorie und Praxis sind manchmal doch anders: Besteigung des Nitteler Felsens forderte viel Kraft..und..dann..wird man später zu ner Flasche Wein eingeladen und verquatscht sich 😅.
