The former Langenau forester's house has unfortunately fallen into disrepair. For many decades, attempts have been made in vain to save the listed building from decay. On the opposite side of the street is the Max-Marien spring. The sour spring was given its name in 1851 on the occasion of a visit by the Bavarian King Max and his wife Marie, when the nobles tasted the mineral spring.
