    Hiking

Great place to visit when the bluebells are out (or any other time of year). Make sure you stay to the paths to preserve the bluebells to make sure they keep blooming and looking amazing year after year!

    Hiking

This is a popular spot during the weekends especially when the Bluebells are in bloom. Arriving early or late in the afternoon/evening will give you a better chance to get it nearly to yourself. There is also limited parking along the roads. A great starting spot for small walks or to tick off Wainwright's in the area.

    Running

A wonderful valley at any time of year with a great fun runnable trail up the middle. In April to May each year it's literally blue with bluebells, a stunning sight!
Rannerdale Knot is a fun summit above Rannerdale and Crumock Water, if you run around to the summit you get a great view down into this valley.
