This marks the point at which you enter into the Blue grade section (after the Black top and Red middle, not official just a guide). This section really is magical, a wide green open valley, castle above you and a fast sweeping rocky ride awaits. There are even a couple of little jumps on the side.

The first section to the techy Rocky stuff is awesome. Wide enough to pick some good lines. Once at the gate it does get very technical, you’ll do well to get a clean run with no dabs. Can be a nightmare when walkers are coming up. Like most areas in the peaks can get busy at weekends.
