I need to remember to avoid the bridleway trail from the top of Werneth Low down to School Lane. Unrideable both ways (even on MTB let alone a gravel bike). So boggy, slippy, and badly overgrown. Lost a fight with a thorn bush.

Guided ride for the Ladybower views
Lovely afternoon ride with 4 Dutch lads over on a bit of a holiday.
New to MTB so we kept it pretty short. Lots of tips, history chat, banter, and some great riding.
Trails were surprisingly pretty dry, and the views were as epic as always. Smiles all round!

Tom Simpson Sportive - 100km Big Ring only
Wise move to drop down from 100 miles to 100km.
Far too flat for my liking, totally not used to the constant pedalling, absolutely no let up. Last 30km solo was horrendous. Long straight roads and a headwind! 🥵
Happy with the average speed so it’s all good.

Derbyshire Gravel Bike
Made the mistake of thinking a ‘Footpath Closed’ sign was wrong at Etherow Country Park so headed down. I was wrong. No matter which way I went it was cut off so had to head back up! Error of judgement. 🤦🏻♂️😂

Little Eight(Hay)field Loop
Thought it would be muddier with all the recent rain. It wasn’t. Took the wrong bike. The Slash with winter mud/slop tyres was way overbiked.
A bit of a slog but a nice ride out, and just about dodged the showers.
