    Karel Frans Gommaar Buls (French: Charles François Gommaire Buls; Brussels, October 13, 1837 - Ixelles, July 13, 1914) was a Belgian Liberal politician and mayor of the city of Brussels.

    He was buried in the Brussels cemetery in Evere. In 1999, a fountain was set up in honor of Karel Buls on the Grasmarkt in Brussels, where his father's jewelry store was located.
