The Warande Park, also called Brussels Park (French: Parc de Bruxelles), the Warande or Royal Park, is a city park in the center of Brussels. The Park of Brussels is approximately 13 hectares in size, symmetrically designed and is located between Koningsstraat, Wetstraat, Hertogstraat and Place des Palais. Brussels Park is located right between the Royal Palace and the Palace of the Nation, which houses the Federal Parliament of Belgium. It is decorated with a large fountain, several breasts and statues, classicist entrance gates and a bandstand. Various cultural activities, such as music performances, take place during the summer. The park is served by the Park (French: Parc) metro stop on lines 1 and 5.
