Old Town Hall (Munich)

Late Gothic building from the middle of the 15th century, altered several times. Splendid ballroom for which the famous "Morisco dancers" were created by Erasmus Grasser. In the Turm Spielzeugmuseum, which is indicated by the mechanical carillon in the passage to the valley.

Do not confuse the very old town hall with the toy museum and the new town hall, which is also old. The new town hall is a music box, a lovely inner courtyard and celebrating Bayern players.

The Old Town Hall on Marienplatz is a representative building of the city administration in Munich's old town.
It was built in the late Gothic style by Jörg von Halsbach between 1470 and 1475 and was the seat of the Munich magistrate until 1874.
