What can you see besides the church and the parking lots on the square? In the middle of the square there is a small piece of green with paths around a statue of the Sacred Heart. At the Scafnis meeting center you can see a statue, 'The Blacksmith'. There is also a utility box near the church that was tackled as part of Tour Elentrik and a war memorial at the church. On and directly around the square there are some older buildings (some could disappear and are somewhat dilapidated) such as old town houses, an older inn and a farm with a gate entrance. And of course there are the mentioned information boards for hikers with information about Schaffen itself, so read them.
