I spent my childhood in Wurgwitz and often took the small train. The same routes have now largely been developed as cycle paths and can be easily mastered by bike. The rail network stretched from Freital Potschappel to Nossen. In Wilsdruff a route branched off to Meißen Triebischtal. The next junction is in Oberdittmannsdorf to Klingenberg Colmnitz. A small train used to run from Klingenberg Colmnitz to Frauenstein.

The former route of the narrow-gauge railway is now a beautiful path and parts of the Saxon Way of St. James also run along it.

Today you can hike on the embankment of the former Freital-Potschappel-Nossen narrow-gauge railway. It ran via Kesselsdorf, Wilsdruff and Mohorn to Nossen. The line, opened in 1886/99, was one of the more heavily frequented narrow-gauge railways and was closed in 1972.
