The Koelewei Mill or Bosterhout Mill is a wooden corn windmill, originating from Meulebeke and rebuilt in 1996-1997 as a standard closed-foot mill on the Kruisvest in Bruges, on the site of a windmill since the 16th century.

Since the creation of the outer city walls at the end of the 13th century and until the 19th century, numerous windmills adorned the Bruges city fortifications. Today, proud examples still rise at the Kruisvest. Fourth mill at the Dampoort. Still grinds grain.

A wonderful walk between the windmills and the river. The area is equipped with tables if you want to have a summer lunch in the middle of such beauty.
