The beautiful town hall was built in 1715 in the then-fashionable Baroque style, but with many Renaissance elements, and remodeled in 1845. It now houses the district administration.

The statue on the balcony is a replica of the statue of "Karle with the Bag," who commissioned the construction of Karlsburg Castle. The original is located in the Pfinzgau Museum within Karlsburg Castle.

Art exhibitions and various markets are frequently held in the large vaulted cellar.
